Letterpress Bachelorette Invitations

One of my best friends is getting married next month and I was so excited when it came to plan my bestie’s Bachelorette Party, mainly the letterpress bachelorette invitations!

Letterpress Bachelorette InvitationsI knew before I even got started designing that I wanted to incorporate shimmery quartz envelopes paired with fuchsia glitter liners. Its a festive, girly combination that I love.Letterpress Bachelorette InvitationsI also envisioned a design where the top of the invitation peeks out of the envelope and you can immediately read: “Please join us for a Bachelorette Weekend Getaway” Its a touch that most don’t think about or notice but I think it is super clever for the recipient to see that phrase upon opening the envelope – followed by dancing in place with excitement. :) Letterpress Bachelorette InvitationsWith it being a weekend soiree, the other bridesmaids and I  wanted to be clear on the itinerary so we broke down the highlights with a timeline featuring cute simple graphics such as a martini glass and lingerie.Letterpress Bachelorette InvitationsLetterpress Bachelorette Invitations I printed her invitations on luxurious Crane’s Lettra paper with fuchsia and slate grey ink on Mia, our 1893 Chandler & Price platen press.
