Woohoo! I’ve been meaning to update the site for a white, but other projects had taken priority, and wedding season hit full force over at the Etsy shop.
The website itself is only 14 months old, but with business growth and expansion, the old girl needed a makeover. The first update was a homepage slideshow featuring the latest designs, seasonal items, and the newest addition to Dinglewood’s offerings: letterpress stationery. Then, we added new pages just for letterpress and wedding letterpress to be featured, along with a little bit of information about the process. Next came a shopping cart that would not only sync up with the etsy shop but would also fit in seamlessly with the site.
The fourth major addition is something that I’d been putting off for a long time: a BLOG. I’d always heard that you shouldn’t have a blog unless you update it a minimum of 3x a week, and quite frankly with just Graphic Design I didn’t see that happening. There is just not enough to blog about with graphic design alone. However, with throwing letterpress into the mix, I could write 10x a week! Ok, so maybe that’s stretching it, but 3x sounds like a piece of cake! Even if there aren’t any long paragraphs (like this one) and just a few photos of what I’m working on that day… piece of cake!
Finally the last obstacle was to be mobile friendly – Hello smart phone and ipad users! How’s the view?
Anyways, that’s all for now. Feel free to take a look around, and let me know what you think!
