IIn the winter of 2012, Christy Etheredge signed up for a letterpress holiday card class. As a freelance designer in Columbus Georgia, she was looking for a different creative outlet that didn't involve staring at pixels all day. She jumped up and down with excitement when something she designed came to life on paper. It was love at first press, and she immediately signed up for a course to learn everything about her new hobby. At first, that is what everyone thought it was - Christy's latest hobby. Then she bought a 120-year-old printing press on eBay and put it in her garage. The rest, as they say, is history.
Since the spring of 2013, Christy's letterpress goods have been shipped all over the world - New York, Australia, Switzerland, Brunei just to name a few. Dinglewood Design and Press continues to thrive with the support of our amazing customers. And while the presses (we have 4 now!) aren't in the garage anymore, Dinglewood Design and Press stays true to its core values:
The best quality paper, hand-mixed inks, and beautiful designs are paired with compulsive attention to detail and fantastic customer service.
